The Kent South Chamber of Commerce brings together business people from all over South Kent. Acting as spokesperson for the latter, our non-profit organization seeks to create a network between people in order to promote the economic prosperity of our region.
PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Kent South Chamber of Commerce has several objectives.
First, try to provide a forum where the business community initiates projects to promote economic and social progress in the Kent South region.
In addition, the Kent-South Chamber of Commerce assumes the responsibility of effectively expressing the positions of the business community with regard to local, regional and national issues. It allows the community to have a strong and united voice that is heard; she remains the intercessor.
Finally, the Kent-South Chamber of Commerce is responsible for facilitating the development of social and commercial links between the members of the chamber as well as facilitating the dissemination of relevant information which interests them.
The objectives of the Kent South Chamber of Commerce will be to provide a forum where the business community initiates projects to promote economic and social progress in the Kent South region:
To effectively express the positions of the business community on local, regional and national issues.
To provide leadership by which the business community will be heard with a strong and united voice.
To facilitate social and business ties between members of the Chamber.
Make information available to members on issues of interest to them.

The Chamber of Commerce was created in 1947. It was founded by Jos Berthe, Lome Collette, Hervé Cormier, Bernard Doucet, Laurie Maillet and Rosario Richard. Since then, the Chamber has extended its territory and now serves the greater Kent South region. The Chamber is now called the Kent-South Chamber of Commerce.
